Slovenian Artificial Intelligence Society (SLAIS)
SLAIS is an association of researchers and practitioners
from the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in
Slovenia.
It promotes theoretical and applied research as well as the
transfer of AI technology to industrial and commercial environments.
The society was founded in 1992.
Most of its members come from universities and research institutes,
while others are from industrial and commercial organisations.
Since 1992, SLAIS is a member society of
ECCAI
(European Coordinating Committee for Artificial Intelligence).
SLAIS Secretariat is hosted by the
Department of Intelligent Systems,
of the Jozef Stefan Institute,
Ljubljana.
