Abstract
GINESYS PC is a system for inductive learning from given examples. Constructed knowledge is represented by a decision rule, composed of main and confirmation rules. They represent a new way of using redundant knowledge. In the article we briefly describe the algorithm and its IBM PC implementation, GINESYS PC. Testings of the system on real-word data and estimation of the system characteristics are also described.
